Philadelphia Soul Move Corporate Headquarters To New Jersey

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Monday, the Soul announced that they were moving their corporate headquarters from Philadelphia, across the river to New Jersey.

The Soul will be setting up their offices in Voorhees, NJ. The Soul train at Nexxt Level Sports, a newly renovate sports performance center in Voorhees.

This move is not a new one for Philadelphia franchises. The Flyers have also set up shop in Voorhees which is where their headquarters and training facility are located.

The Sixers are in the process of building a new home in New Jersey as well. They are building a new state of the art facility in Camden that will house both their front office operations as well as their training facility.

The Sixers made the move after plans for a similar structure in Phildelphia fell through.

"We are more than just a Philadelphia team, we are also a South Jersey team," said Soul Co-Majority owner and former Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski.

Jaworski added that as a resident of South Jersey, he and the Soul are committed to supporting economic growth in the area.
