Philadelphia School District Imposes New Option For Vaccinated Students Who Have Been Exposed To COVID-19, But Don't Have Symptoms
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia School District has a new option for students who have been exposed to COVID-19 but don't have symptoms. They're calling it a "Mask to Stay Option."
Students who are close contacts and are asymptomatic can now stay in school if they wear a mask for 10 days after their last date of exposure, self-monitor for symptoms and isolate and get tested if they start showing symptoms.
The policy applies whether or not the student has been vaccinated.
