Philadelphia Police Searching For 3 Suspects Wanted For Multiple Robberies

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are looking for three suspects believed to be responsible for three separate robberies in Philadelphia.

On Sept. 20, 2013 at 11:45 a.m., the suspects, two males and a female, entered the Metropolitan Diner at 264 S 19th Street in Rittenhouse, where they stole the wallet off of a female victim.

About an hour later, the suspects went to the Home Depot at 24th Street and Oregon Avenue in South Philly, where they used the woman's credit cards to purchase over $1,500 in gift cards.

Police say the suspects also committed a third theft on Jan. 10, 2014 at the Rice & Mix Restaurant at 1207 Walnut Street in Washington Square using the same method.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 40 years old with a stocky build. He's between 5'9" and 6'0" with a beard and was wearing a flannel button-up shirt and jeans.

The second suspect is also a black male around 40 years of age with a stocky build who is between 5'10" and 6'1". He has a beard and was wearing a light colored shirt and jeans.

The third suspect is a black female around 40 years old with a medium to heavy build. She's between 5'5" and 5'7" and was wearing glasses, a dark colored baseball cap, a light colored shirt and jeans. She was also carrying a large pocketbook, possibly brown in color.

If you see one or all of the three suspects, please call police immediately.
