Phanatic Celebrates Birthday At Phillies Braves Game
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies and Citizens Bank pulled out all the stops to celebrate the Phanatic's birthday this afternoon.
This is the 37th year the Phanatic turned 8. His mom Phoebe had a few tricks up her sleeve for the celebration, as we hear from Teresa Leyden with the Phillies.
"Some special friends travelling all the way from the Galapagos Islands to meet him and to reunite with him. They are called the Galapagos Gang," said Leyden.

Swoop from the Eagles and some mascots from local colleges also came for the party. In addition, a few lucky fans got to hang out on the field.
Citizens Bank president Dan Fitzpatrick says it was great to watch the kids interact with the Phanatic and his buddies.
"And that's what baseball is all about. It's a great family experience," Fitzpatrick said.
Ryan Howard did his part by hitting a three run homer in the 1st inning.
