Pennsylvania Trooper Injured In Stolen Car Chase

HAMBURG BOROUGH, Pa. (AP) — Police say a Pennsylvania state trooper was injured when the driver of a stolen car struck the trooper's car and the two vehicles then hit a parked U.S. Postal Service delivery vehicle.

Police say the stolen car, which was registered in New Jersey, was spotted Saturday afternoon heading east on Interstate 78 toward Hamburg Borough, Pennsylvania. Police say the driver sped off, took an exit and drove through the parking lot of Hamburg Market before hitting the trooper's vehicle at the exit of the parking lot.

Trooper Michael Koslosky was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police did not describe his injuries.

All three vehicles were damaged.

Police say 21-year-old Jaquan Tishan Kawan Grandy, of Inwood, New York, was taken into custody and faces numerous charges, including aggravated assault.
