Cops: Contractor Prompts Lockdown At Pennsbury High School East and West

FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. (CBS) -- Investigators say a contractor unknowingly prompted a lockdown at Pennsbury High School East and West in Bucks County Wednesday morning.

According to investigators, the contractor was allowed inside the building, but he apparently did not follow the proper sign-in protocol.

As a precaution, the school was placed on lockdown and the Falls Township Police Department responded to the school.

After determining the contractor was allowed inside the school, the lockdown was lifted at about 9:20 a.m. and a normal school day resumed.
