Person Struck, Killed By Train Near Norwood Train Station In Delaware County Was Trespassing, Amtrak Says
RIDLEY PARK, Pa. (CBS) -- Amtrak says a person struck and killed by a train in Ridley Park was trespassing. The tragic accident happened around 4 p.m. Sunday near the Norwood-SEPTA station, halting service along the Northeast Corridor.
There were more than 500 passengers on board at the time of the crash. The train remained at the scene for around two hours during the investigation.
No one on board of the train that was traveling from Boston to Washington D.C, were injured.
