Pa. SPCA Probes Cache of Dead Pets Found in Kensington Home
By Robin Culverwell
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Workers with the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals were evaluating nearly a dozen animals taken today from a home in the city's Kensington section.
Found along with ten live animals -- cats, turtles, and a rat -- were more than a dozen dead animals. Those included kittens, snakes, and an iguana.
The PSPCA says it got a tip about the animals inside the home. The investigation is ongoing and no charges were immediately filed.
