One Killed In Atlantic County Crash
GALLOWAY, NJ (CBS) – One person was killed in a crash in Galloway, NJ on Sunday night.
The accident happened at Duerer Street between Frankfurt and Berlin Avenues around 7:52 p.m.
Police say a 1999 Oldsmobile driven by 28-year-old Shane R. Gerson, of Mullica Township, was traveling west on Duerer when the driver lost control of the car and struck a large tree on the westbound shoulder of the road.
Gerson, the only occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was wearing a seatbelt.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
