No Regrets Despite Loss, Says Lynne Abraham; Wants Spending Reforms

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Even though former Philadelphia district attorney Lynne Abraham finished a distant third in the mayor's race, she says she has no regrets.
Abraham told her supporters tonight that she's not sad at all, and that she was proud to be only the second woman to run for Philadelphia mayor -- Happy Fernandez being the other.
The former four-term DA entered the race as perhaps the best known candidate in a crowded field. But, she acknowledged, you need more than that.
"I think name recognition is important," she said. "But when you don't have millions of dollars to spend on TV and other media, it does have an impact."
Dark money was a big topic in this campaign, and Abraham says campaign finance laws need to be changed so the public has a better idea who is paying for advertisements backing candidates.
And Abraham, 74, said she did not think her collapse during a televised debate made much of a difference in the outcome of the race.
