Multi-Vehicle Accident Ties Up Traffic On EB Vine Street Expressway

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- A multi-vehicle accident on the eastbound Vine Street Expressway tied up traffic, seriously affecting the morning commute early Wednesday.

Police arrived to the scene of the accident around 7:30am. At that time, traffic was jammed from the Schuylkill Expressway to Broad Street.

The accident occurred past the Broad Street exit ramp. The CBSPhilly traffic center advises avoiding the Vine Street Expressway heading into Center City.
