Minor Injuries Reported In Boat Fire On The Delaware River
FLORENCE, N.J. (CBS) -- According to police, a boat caught on fire on the Delaware River Monday afternoon.
Police received the call of trouble when the boat was near Newbold Island. All five people on board jumped into the water and made their way to the island, where New Jersey State Police picked them up.
One man suffered minor burns to his calf and a woman suffered a back injury.
Chopper 3 was over the scene as the boat involved was towed back to shore.
Police brought the victims and the boat to Pennsylvania near Neshaminy Park.
It's unclear what caused the fire.
