Massive Fuel Spill Causes Traffic Nightmare In NE Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A massive fuel spill caused significant traffic delays in Northeast Philadelphia Saturday.
Bustleton Avenue was shut down in the northbound direction between Trevose and County Line Roads. Everything has since reopened.
The incident caused gridlock along other major roadways in the area, including on the westbound side of Woodhaven Road between Roosevelt Boulevard and Evans Road which connects to Byeberry Road. Byeberry Road was jammed in both directions as a result.
There were no initial reports of any accidents as a result of the fuel spill.
