Joel Embiid In Warm Up Gear Before Sixers Lakers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Twitter was buzzing as the Sixers faithful got another glimpse into the future from Joel Embiid on Monday night. The Sixers center has been giving plenty of insight into his potential with his pregame workout clips, but prior to the Sixers match up with the Lakers, Embiid took the court with his teammates in his team warm up gear.

That's right. Embiid was in his Sixers warm up attire, prior to the game, with his teammates. Embiid wanted to take place in a pre-game jersey swap that took place as a part of Fan Appreciation Night and wore his official warm up to be dress code compliant.

The rule made for a nice first sighting and surely the fans were appreciative.

By the way, Embiid's dancing also.

Chances appear to be slim that Embiid will get an opportunity to actually play for the team this season, but seeing him in a Sixers warm up is a glimpse at what is to come next season.
