Statue Stolen From Port Richmond Church
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A statue that normally stands outside of a church in Port Richmond vanished overnight.
The statue of a small child sitting at the feet of Jesus was stolen from Mother of Divine Grace church on Monmouth and Thompson streets.
A woman from the church says the statue normally sits behind a rod iron fence so taking the statue would require a great deal of effort.
She says the statue had been donated by a family of the parish in honor of their mom and dad.
Members of the church are asking people be on the lookout for the statue.
