Hockey Fans Pack The Wells Fargo Center For Frozen Four

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Hockey fans packed the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia Saturday night for the Frozen Four finale -- the NCAA's national championship game between Union College and the University of Minnesota.
Before the puck dropped for the game between the Dutchmen and the Golden Gophers, officials declared the 2014 Frozen Four a great success.
Kristin Fasbender with the NCAA says Philadelphia proved to be a great host city and hockey town.
"I think everybody's had an opportunity to get out and see some of the sights while they're here, but the building and the ice and everybody here has been amazing," she said. "So I think it's been a really good experience for our student-athletes as well as for the fans that have joined us here this weekend."
One of those fans is Rob Dickson who drove down from Glenville, NY to cheer on Union College.
"We spent the last two days sightseeing and I was amazed at what a nice city it is," he said. "It's really astounding."
Wells Fargo general Manager Matt Homan hopes the success of the Frozen Four this year will help bring more big events to the city.
