Hillary Clinton Makes Campaign Stop In Delco
HAVERFORD, Pa. (CBS) — Hillary Clinton made a town-hall-style campaign stop in Delaware County, taking questions from a crowd of about 600 supporters.
Clinton was asked about girls being bullied because of their looks.
"It's shocking when women are called names and judged solely on the basis of physical attributes."
She was also asked a question about gun violence and policing. Clinton says we need to work on deescalating situations, both among police and the community.
"Understanding what we all face because remember people are scared on both sides of those transactions."
Sheila Fisher, from Havertown, calls Clinton the most wonderful candidate ever.
"I'm going to be 80-years-old, and I'm so privileged to be alive to have the chance to meet the first woman president."
Clinton also discussed affordable childcare, minimum wage and student loan debt.
