Gov. Wolf: Pa. Native Victim Of San Bernardino Mass Shooting

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) -- Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf released a statement on a Pennsylvania native who was a victim of the deadly shootings in San Bernardino, California.

Governor Wolf identified the victim as Harry Bowman.

"We are saddened to hear reports that Pennsylvania-native Harry Bowman was among the victims of the senseless violence in San Bernardino, California. On behalf of all Pennsylvanians, Frances and I extend our deepest condolences to the Bowman family and all of our fellow York County residents whom knew him."
The family of Bowman released the following statement:

'Harry "Hal" Bowman worked as a Statistical Analyst for Healthy Communities for the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health. Born and raised in York, Pennsylvania, he was the loving father of two daughters. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his free time hiking. He was also a dedicated Catholic, often teaching religious classes.

This is a tragic loss for our family, much like it is for all families around the world who have experienced this kind of violence. There are no words that express our sadness in losing such a special person. We can only hope that these senseless killings cease.

We ask you to respect our privacy during this very personal time of mourning.'
