'Gilmore Girls' Pop-Up Cafes Coming To The Philadelphia Area
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you're a fan of "Gilmore Girls" than you already know about the upcoming Netflix reboot scheduled to premiere November 25.
But before that wave of nostalgia washes over your TV screen, people will be able to get reacquainted with Stars Hollow in real life.
Pop-up cafes, inspired by Luke's Diner, are springing up across the country today and a few of them are open in our area.
Hub Bub Coffee shops in Philadelphia and Radnor, as well as Loma Coffee in Wilmington, Del. will all transform into Lorelai and Rory's favorite coffee and breakfast joint on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 7 a.m.
Netflix is orchestrating the one-day event to get everyone excited about the return of the show.
In addition, Hub Bub's first 150 customers will receive free 12 oz. cups of coffee... Lorelai would approve.
