Free Speech Debate Rages, Student Suspended After Music Video Depicts NJ High School
EGG HARBOR Twp., N.J. (CBS) -- The video is called "The 609," and it's a student by the nickname Tony Beatz's take on the song "Outro," by Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill.
The video depicts students playing dice in a bathroom, slapping each other in the hallway, pushing and shoving, and standing on desks, makings gestures like they're shooting guns, all allegedly inside Egg Harbor Township High School.

"The adults in the community are pretty upset about a video like that being posted," said parent Mike Servis.
"I was a little upset about the content of the video being filmed at the high school where my child goes," Amy Gallagher said. Without mentioning the student by name, or discussing any discipline, the school district released a statement saying they are, "aware of a video posted on multiple social media sites that depicted EHT High School and some students. The District will continue to monitor the situation and conduct its own investigation."
According to multiple sources, and an online petition defending Tony Beatz, he was suspended for 10 days.
On Tuesday, more than 100 students walked out of class to protest his suspension. "I pulled my kid out a little bit early, not to be a part of any of the nonsense," Servis said.
The video has provoked a lot of debate in the community about inappropriate behavior and free speech.
