Flight From PHL Delayed Due To Security Concern

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An American Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Boston was delayed Sunday morning because of a security concern.
According to an airport spokesperson, two ticketed passengers gained early unauthorized access to the flight #1655 prior to their boarding time.
Investigators at Philadelphia International Airport are working with the airline and the TSA to determine how the couple was able to board the aircraft.
American Airlines decided to use a different plane for the flight, they say, "out of an abundance of caution."
Passengers were delayed about two hours. The original aircraft is undergoing a thorough security sweep, but foul play is not suspected.
