FBI Probes Cyberattack At Rutgers University
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — FBI agents are investigating a cyberattack that crippled Internet service at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
University officials say the attack began on Friday.
Service was slow and sometimes was not available.
A university spokesman says the system is now working on campus. But technicians are still working to restore it for off-campus users.
Spokesman E.J. Miranda says there is no evidence that any confidential information was compromised.
Meanwhile, published reports say a cyberattack at Fairleigh Dickinson University were quickly resolved over the weekend.
