Drexel Fraternity Warms Philly's Homeless With Thanksgiving Dinners
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)-- Members of Phi Kappa Psi at Drexel University are helping to feed the homeless this Thanksgiving.
Every year the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi feed more than 150 people living on the streets around their university.
"Our fraternity was founded on the idea that it's a great joy of serving others," said one student. "So the reason we do this is just to give back to the community every year, it's been going for 16 years now."
The group says they are cooking up about 12 turkeys, including all of the fixings, that will warm up the homeless and even those working at the 911 call center in Center City.
