DNC Donkey Run To Take Place On Saturday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There are 57 donkeys in Philadelphia thanks to Democratic National Convention, which is coming to the Wells Fargo Center from July 25th - 28th.

A Facebook group was created called 'DNC Donkey Run' by Christopher Cna Alvin and Rebecca Barber to find the donkeys. Barber, also the creator of the Rocky 50k run, created the group to promote a fun run on Saturday through Philadelphia, in order to track down all 57 donkeys.

The total distance of the run will be 14.28 miles, which will end in University City with "post race refreshments, beer, and maybe even some music and dancing!"

The run starts at the Navy Yard at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15th.
