Delaware Announces $1.5 Million Grant Helping Nonprofits Providing Food During Pandemic

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Del. (CBS) -- Nonprofit organizations in Delaware that have been helping to feed people during the pandemic are getting some help. On Tuesday, New Castle County officials announced a new $1.5 million grant for food distribution programs.
The grant is funded by the CARES Act and is open to small and large nonprofits who have seen an increase in the demand for food as a result of the pandemic.
