Clinton Supporter Arrives At Temple University Nearly 8 Hours Before Rally

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Hillary Clinton is back on the campaign trail today after officially accepting the nomination for President last night.

This rally was was supposed to happen outside, on Independence Mall, but with rain in the forecast, the campaign moved it inside to McGonigle Hall at Temple.

At the front of the line to get in, 21-year-old Chris Shoemaker from North Jersey.

"Well, I've been here since about 4:15 in the morning."

Several hours before the doors would even open. He says he believes Clinton should be President Obama's successor and be the one to handle all on America's plate.

"There's a lot of work that has to be done with the economy and immigration and a lot of other issues."

Many here say Clinton's acceptance speech inspired them, including some not old enough to vote, like 14-year-old Erica.

"Just makes me feel empowered. Women can do anything a man can."
