Chester High School Opening Late Monday Due To Heating Issues
CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) - Chester High School will open two hours late Monday because of issues to the school's heating system.
School officials say the cold weather over the weekend affected their older heating system.
Superintendent Gregory Shannon has assured parents the students safety is their top priority. School officials were working throughout the weekend to address the problem.
Robo-calls were made to parents Sunday night alerting them to the two-hour delay.
The school will open at 9:30 a.m.
