CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) - Cherry Hill Police are investigating multiple pick pocket cases and subsequent frauds that occurred in recent weeks.
There have been four cases since early November where these thieves have racked up over $17,000 in charges on stolen cards, though it's not clear if they're connected.
The most recent case happened on Tuesday when a victim had her wallet stolen while she was shopping at Christmas Tree Shops. Those cards were used at Total Wine for over $300.
Three other incidents happened last month.
On the day before Thanksgiving, a woman had her wallet stolen while at Panera Bread. Those cards were used for over $14,000 dollars at Nordstrom and the Apple store.
Another victim had her wallet stolen about a week earlier while she was dining at Bahama Breeze. Those cards were used in Macy's and Target for $769.
The final victim had her wallet stolen at Wegman's early in the month. A thief used her cards at Best Buy to rack up over $2,300 worth of merchandise.
From the photos of the alleged thieves provided by police, it appears to be at least two different people. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cherry Hill Police at 856-432-8834.
