Cherry Hill Mall Evacuated After Power Outage
CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) -- The Cherry Hill Mall was evacuated on Wednesday night. Mall officials announced on their website that the evacuation was due to a power outage.
The mall closed down for the rest of the evening. It was announced that the mall is expected to reopen on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m.
Shoppers reacted to the power outage on social media.
In cherry hill mall & all the lights shut off & an announcement comes on telling everyone to immediately evacuate the building ????

J.C. Penney, Nordstrom and Macy's were not impacted and remained open for the remainder of the Wednesday night mall hours.
