Central Pa. Sex Predator Sentenced To 203 Years In Prison For Assaults On Pre-teen Girls
BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) — A Central Pennsylvania man deemed a sexually violent predator has been sentenced to a minimum 203 to 406 years in prison for what prosecutors called a "reign of terror" on young people.
Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said Monday that Joseph Bailey "defied all bounds of decency" with repeated attacks on preteen girls from May 2008 to August 2012.
The 32-year-old Fleming man was convicted in April of sexual assault, rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors and other charges.
Judge Pamela Ruest says Bailey must register as a sex offender for life if he's ever released.
Prosecutors say Bailey mixed alcoholic drinks for his victims so they would pass out and threatened them with violence if they didn't comply with his sexual demands.
