Caught On Camera: 4 Suspects Sought In Olney Home Invasion/Robbery
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A businessman and his wife were robbed of several thousand dollars early Monday at their home in Olney.
Surveillance video showing the suspects can be seen below:
Police say it happened around 3:30 in the 100 block of Godfrey Avenue, just off Front Street.
The victim and his wife had just gotten home from their restaurant, when three young men in hoodies approached with guns drawn and hustled the couple inside.
A fourth guy stayed outside as a lookout. Authorities say, once inside, the gunmen forced the victims onto the floor. The thieves made off with a black backpack, which held $3,000 and the victim's handgun.
The suspects ran north across Godfrey up Howard Street, then jumped into a waiting car.
The white or silver sedan, possibly a Ford, headed west in the alley behind Godfrey.
Authorities say no shots were fired, nor was anyone hurt.
