Camden Man Arrested For Multiple Daylight Burglaries In Cherry Hill
CHERRY HILL, NJ (CBS) – Police in Cherry Hill have arrested a 46-year-old man for several residential burglaries that happened during daylight hours.
According to police, they conducted a plainclothes detail and saw a man was seen walking in the area where the burglaries occurred.
That male was identified as Steven C. Marshall, of Camden, who was wanted by Voorhees Police.
While police were arresting the suspect, they noticed the man was wearing footwear identical to the footwear in photos taken at the scene of a previous burglary.
The suspect was arrested by Voorhees Township Police and remanded to Camden County Jail on the outstanding charge.
As a result of the arrest, detectives found the suspect had sold items similar to those taken in one of the burglaries.
When questioned, the suspect admitted to committing five burglaries over the course of a three-week period.
The suspect was charged with five counts of burglary and theft and remanded to Camden County Jail in default of $37,500 cash bail.
