Cabrini College Is Now Officially Cabrini University
RADNOR, Pa. (CBS) -- Cabrini College in Radnor is now going by a slightly different name. On Friday, the school made it official: Cabrini College is now Cabrini University.
Cabrini, founded in 1957, announced, on Friday, that it is now officially a university and a new logo was unveiled to indicate the change.
Along with the new status, comes a new academic structure which includes a School of Education, a School of Business, Arts and Media, a School of Humanities and Social Sciences and a School of Natural Sciences and Allied Health.
"Since its founding in 1957, Cabrini has dramatically and consistently expanded its programs and student population," said Cabrini University President Donald B. Taylor, PhD, in a statement. "The changes today reflect how Cabrini has continued to move forward while staying true to its mission. It's a milestone that everyone in the Cabrini community, students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends have made possible."
Cabrini plans to hold a celebration in August when students are back on the campus.
