Anti-Trump Protesters Disrupt PA Republican Fundraising Lunch
NEW YORK, N.Y. (CBS) -- Protesters disrupted the annual Pennsylvania Republican fundraising lunch in New York Friday.
The target was featured speaker republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
One group of protesters tried to barrel their way in, but Martha Applesberger was among a dozen people with Jews for Racial and Economic Justice who paid the $1,000 ticket price and stood one at a time, singing or reciting messages of tolerance.
She says Trump seemed unfazed.
Trump fan Marc Scoringi says the focus of Trump's remarks was business, not immigration, though he defended earlier Trump remarks.
Scoringi predicts a Trump victory.
