Abington Parents, Students Urge School Board To Vote No On Plan To Return To Class For 2 Half-Days
ABINGTON, Pa. (CBS) -- Parents and students in Abington rallied Thursday for a return to school. They gathered on the steps of the school administration building to urge the school board to vote no on a plan to return students to only two half-days of school.
Parents say this amounts to less than six hours a week of in-person instruction.
They want the school board to consider other plans, such as two full days of school or four to five half-days.
