6 Women Allegedly Stole Thousands Of Dollars From Chinese Restaurant In South Jersey
FOLSOM BOROUGH, NJ (CBS) – New Jersey State Police are on the hunt for a group of women accused of taking thousands of dollars and other items from a Chinese Restaurant in Atlantic County.
Authorities say on Saturday, September 27 around 2:45 p.m., six females entered the Krystal Vy Chinese Restaurant on the Black Horse Pike. One suspect placed an order, then another woman distracted the worker, while another went behind the counter and stole the employee's purse.
The suspects left in a newer model tan Toyota Sienna with what looked to be a temporary New Jersey license plate. Police believe that all six women were working together.
Detectives later learned that the same suspects attempted to use the same distracting tactics at a nearby business, but were unsuccessful.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Buena Vista Station at 609-561-1800.
