3 On Your Side: New Google App Can Help iPhone Users

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Attention iPhone users: There's a new Google app that could make your life a little bit easier. Are you intrigued?
In today's 3 On Your Side consumer report, a look at how it works.
It happens often to iPhone users, you're in the middle of texting when you need send an address to a friend, but you don't know it offhand.
So you have to leave the conversation to Google the address, copy it and send the link.
Well Google has a solution. It's called the Gboard. You can search Google right from a special keyboard. Just tap the G and your results will show up on screen making it easy to send in a message without having to close out of your conversation.
The Gboard works for texting, email and in other apps. And there are some other features like glide typing that makes typing faster. You can also search for emojis and find the perfect picture faster. In addition, you can send YouTube videos, flight information and gifs.
