Firefighter Remains Hospitalized Following Delaware Blaze
DOVER, Del. (CBS)—Two firefighters and two civilians were hurt in a fire in Dover, Delaware Tuesday morning.
It happened around 7 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Dupont Highway.
Fire officials tell CBS 3 that several people were rescued, including a baby, after flames tore through the Cedar Chase Apartments.
Officials say in total, 11 apartments were affected and one firefighter remains hospitalized for evaluation.
One dog was also removed from the building, the fire marshal says it will be okay.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
