Power Restored To Stanton Senior Living Facility Where Hundreds Struggled In The Dark

STANTON (CBSLA.com) — Crews have turned the power back on in a Stanton neighborhood.

Hundreds of people were affected Tuesday night, and many of them were seniors living at Park Place Apartments.

Ambulances were outside to help the more than 300 residents.

Among those affected was Judith Argyle, who went hours without the nebulizer she uses to breathe.

Down the hall, Gloria Nicholson says she felt like a prisoner in a wheelchair on the third floor because the elevators weren't working.

Upset residents say the manager didn't bother to check on them throughout the outage.
