South Bay Power Outage Leaves Thousands In The Dark
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Thousands of Southern California Edison customers were without power Monday in the South Bay area.
According to the utility company's website, more than 30,000 customers living in Hawthorne, Inglewood, Torrance and Gardena have been affected by the outage.
Torrance firefighters said they are responding to reports of blown transformers in the northern part of the city.
There was no immediate estimate as to when power would be restored in the area.
