Power Outage Causes Traffic Signals To Fail In Alhambra
ALHAMBRA (CBSLA.com) — A power outage Monday caused several traffic signals to fail in Alhambra, according to police.
The outage was reported around 8:48 a.m., officials said.
"Please use extreme caution when approaching intersections where the traffic signals are not functioning. California law requires all drivers to yield the right-of way at intersections where the traffic signals are not functioning and consider the intersection as a 4-way stop," Alhambra PD posted on its Facebook page.
Southern California Edison was working to restore the power, which was expected to be completed by 11 a.m.
No further details were released.
