Father Comes Forward To Claim Boy Who Was Found Walking In North Hills

NORTH HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A 2-year-old boy was found walking on a street in the North Hills area Monday, police said.

The boy's father later contacted the LAPD  and was being interviewed by investigators.

The child, who only speaks Spanish, was found at about 6 a.m. near Van Nuys Boulevard and Woodman Avenue, Los Angeles police officials said.

The boy is described as Hispanic with a medium complexion, short black hair and brown eyes. He is about 30 inches tall and weighs about 35 pounds and was found wearing a blue M&M T-shirt, dark blue shorts and white socks.
