Man Killed In Construction Accident In Longmont
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Federal safety inspectors were on their way to a construction site in Longmont on Monday at midday after a worker fell to his death.
The accident happened after Tereso Zamarippa-Hernandez, 39, from Aurora, stepped through plywood covering a hole in the roof at the Village at the Peaks worksite. That's a new mall being built along 95th Street in the southwest section of the city.
Longmont police are investigating but don't believe anything criminal happened.
OSHA will also investigate.
