Memorial Day weekend forecast brings a chance of snow to Colorado's mountains

Denver weather: Warm, dry and windy Thursday

We're coming up on the unofficial start to summer in Colorado. Enjoy mild temperatures on Friday with daytime highs in the lower 70s in the Denver metro area. A stray shower will be possible in the evening.

Saturday, will have more cloud cover throughout the day, but temperatures will warm with highs in the mid-70s with a 30% chance for late day showers and thunderstorms.

If you are heading to the mountains snow showers are possible about 8,500  feet with 1-2 inches of accumulation by Sunday morning.

Sunday brings more sunshine and an isolated chance for showers with seasonal temperatures in the mid 70s. It will be a bit breezy in the afternoon with wind gusts reaching 30 mph.
