Police search for missing 12-year-old girl, last seen in Chicago's Woodlawn area

Search on for missing 12-year-old girl from Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police on Monday were asking for help from the public in finding a 12-year-old girl who disappeared nearly three weeks ago.

Chicago Police said Tylea Vassor was last seen at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the 6200 block of South Vernon Avenue.

Tylea is Black, standing 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium brown complexion. She was last seen wearing a White T-shirt and pajama pants with blue stars on the legs.

Chicago Police

Tylea is known to frequent the area of the Parkway Gardens housing development in the area of 64th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call Chicago Police Wentworth Area Special Victims Unit detectives at 312-747-8380.
