Hundreds Of Flights Canceled At O'Hare
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The airlines expect a lot of people will be trying to travel today - because tomorrow is going to be the first day back at work for many people after Christmas and New Year's.
And the outlook is not altogether encouraging.
The Chicago dept of aviation says at O'Hare, 1300 flights have been cancelled. At Midway, more than 200 cancelled.

American has so far - at 8 a.m. - canceled more than 100 flights today out of O'Hare alone. And that number is definitely expected to grow.
American Airlines Spokeswoman Mary Frances Fagan says deicing a plane can take half an hour or so - and that backs things up to where a delay turns into a cancellation because workers just cannot keep up.
