Feds want cars to communicate with V2V tech to reduce crashes
A new major government announcement could dramatically reduce crashed on roads. The Department of Transportation has taken a key step towards requiring Vehicle-to-Vehicle technology to be in every car in the U.S. Also known as V2V, the technology would help vehicles to see each other and warn of a potetial danger before a driver knows it is there. CBS News correspondent Kris Van Cleave reports.
