White House launches opioid "scare" ads
The Trump administration has launched a series of advertisements aimed at fighting opioid use in young adults. In partnership with the Truth Initiative, four ads have been released that tell graphic stores of four young adults and how quickly their opioid addiction takes a toll on their lives. Dr. Harshal Kirane, director of addiction services at Staten Island University Hospital, joins CBSN more on the effects of “anti-drug” commercials leading to less drug abuse.
