What led to NYC Mayor Eric Adams' indictment?

A federal grand jury has indicted New York City Mayor Eric Adams on multiple federal charges in an alleged decade-long corruption case. The Democrat is facing five charges including bribery, wire fraud and two counts of solicitation of a contribution by a foreign national.
