Washington calls Moscow's latest round of military drills "escalatory action"
The U.S. is calling Russia's latest round of large-scale military drills with ally Belarus an "escalatory action." The exercises are stoking fears this could be Moscow's first step toward an all-out invasion of Ukraine, something the Kremlin has continually denied.
